This is one of those updates where we need to have a real conversation about where OceanIR is headed. We're introducing a new pricing model.

Credits aren't going away. But we're adding a subscription option that makes OceanIR significantly cheaper for regular users.

The new pricing model

Until now, OceanIR has been entirely credit-based. You buy credits at $0.80 each, use them for analyses, and buy more when you run out. Simple, but expensive if you're using the platform regularly.

Starting with 1.53, we're introducing a hybrid model.

Pricing Tiers
1
Free tier
3 analyses per month. No credit card required.
2
Credits
Still available at $0.80 per analysis. Perfect for occasional use.
3
Insider subscription
$19/month for 50 analyses. That's ~$0.38 per analysis—less than half the credit price.

We're also offering an annual Insider plan at $180/year (effectively $15/month), which saves you $48 compared to monthly billing.

Introducing Insider

The Insider plan isn't just about cheaper analyses. Here's what you get:

  • +50 analyses per month — Allocation refreshes every billing cycle.
  • +Priority processing — Your analyses jump the queue when servers are busy.
  • +Early access to new models — New AI capabilities before everyone else.
  • +Priority support — Questions answered faster, issues resolved sooner.

The math is straightforward: if you run more than 24 analyses per month, Insider is cheaper than credits.

Subscriptions give us more predictable revenue, which lets us plan better and build faster. In exchange, we pass significant savings to you.

Settings redesign

The old profile page was functional but cramped. As we added more features, it became clear we needed a proper settings architecture.

What's New
1
Sidebar navigation
Settings organized into Dashboard, Account, Billing, Subscription.
2
Dashboard overview
Credit balance, usage stats, and subscription status at a glance.
3
City-by-city analytics
Track exactly how many analyses you've run in each city.

The URL has changed from /profile to /settings. Old links redirect automatically.

Analysis persistence

Every analysis you run is now saved to your account. All seven cities: Miami, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, Paris, and London.

What gets saved:

  • +The image you analyzed
  • +Coordinates and confidence score
  • +Neighborhood identification
  • +Full AI reasoning
  • +Processing time and timestamp

Close your browser, switch devices, come back next week. Your analyses are still there.
